Food, service, all was amazing. Ordered empanadas with cheese and plantain.. amazing so crispy and well fried. I also ordered the tequeños and cachapa which were delicious even after warming it up at home later on during the day. Overall excellent quality of food and service! Will definitely be returning.

Soooooo amazing!!! 5 stars for sure My boyfriend and I both got the cachapas (sweet corn arepa) and we got it with beef and then we picked cheese and fried egg to be our 2 toppings. They were freaking AMAAAAZING. We also got the passion fruit juice drink which was also great. She recommended the cilantro sauce to go with it and I typically am not a huge fan of cilantro but it was so freaking good. Huge portions. I was completely starving and hadn't eaten all day. I'm literally stuffed and I have like 1/3 left. The woman was so nice she's actually from Venezuela. My boyfriend spent some time in Venezuela and he said this food was super authentic.

The food was delicious! I had the reina pepiada arepa with cheese and plantains, and it was definitely one of the best arepas I've had. The lady working (who I assume is the owner) was super friendly. She recommended the mango passion fruit juice since it's a popular order and there wasn't enough passion fruit juice for a whole cup. I'm normally not a fan of mango, but it was really good mixed with the passion fruit. I will definitely be recommending Budare's to friends and family!

Wow this empanadas are absolutely the best! The sweet lady behind the window was patient and nice and honest about any question. The bean and cheese empanadas made with cornmeal were cooked to perfection and also stuffed to perfection. The dipping sauce with it was so fresh you couldn't still see the air bubbles from the grinding. We also tried the cheese bread - delicious. And the fruit juices were so necessary for this summer day - guava and passion fruit were both enjoyable.

We hired Budare's to cater a reunion for 60 people. Our menu selections were Carne Mechada, White Rice, Black Beans, Platanos, Yucca Frita, and Quesillo(Flan). The food arrived on time, hot, and ready to serve. The food was delicious! The flavors were spot on and the Quesillo was phenomenal! We received rave reviews from our diners. The entire process from ordering, to delivery was flawless. I would highly recommend Budare's for catering an event and if you only need a meal for yourself, visit the Food Truck, you will NOT be disappointed. Carmen suggested add ons of mixed veggies for those who don't eat beef. Gracias por todo Carmen! Hasta Pronto!

Budare's is in one of the best food truck parks in town, there's a wide variety of ethnic foods and a lot you can't get anywhere else in ATX. I have yet to try the food at this truck but I crave this juice at least 3 times a week! They have different hours so make sure to look at that before going, but it's definitely worth heading to just for the juices. They have multiple flavors such as guava, soursop, mango, and passion fruit. I've found soursop to be hard to come by and have only found it at the farmers market on Mueller so I love anytime I can get my hands on it.

Couples: Order your own. My GF found this spot on TikTok and I'm glad that we decided to check em out! It was our first time so we decided to share. You get 3 empanadas for $7 which is very reasonable. They made them fresh, brought em to my car and the customer service was also great (which is rare). The breading is a little sweet, the meat was flavorful and the cheese pull was everything. Overall experience was enjoyable.

Here's a shout out to my fellow Yelper and good friend Samuel C who, together with the "love of his life" Lynn, enticed me over to the food truck park at 5000 Burnet Rd for some friendly and muffled shouting-through- masks at appropriate social distances, followed by a sensational Zoom dinner party at our respective homes. This is fresh Venezuelan food cooked in small batches and prepared to order, lovingly fried or sauteed and seasoned. The food looks appetizing. And it is! Their empanadas are fried corn dough stuffed with melty cheese, shredded chicken or beef. These are fried to golden perfection, served piping hot and paired with a fresh and flavorful cilantro sauce. They keep well till you get home for takeout. The plantains are sooo good. So sweet! If you're looking for powerful nutrition, consider their sweet soursop juice (aka Guanabana juice). High in antioxidants, vitamins B and C and fiber, this packs a punch. SAFETY FROM THE 'RONA: You'd better be taking every possible precaution to protect me and yourselves, and Budare's is doing just that. The two chefs inside the little red truck were wearing surgical masks. SPEED: Don't order from this truck if you're in a rush as they don't prepare their food ahead of time. RECYCLING: Since takeout is the preferred order of the day, how the food is packaged makes a difference to me. Everything was served in a recyclable container.
